Launching in 2018.
Dragon Ball FighterZ, a new 2D fighting game from Guilty Gear developer Arc System Works, has been announced.
According to Bandai Namco’s announcement, the game will feature a three-versus-three team battle system, and will release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in early 2018.
A closed beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ will take place “before the end of the summer” on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Bandai Namco will provided further details about the beta at some point in the near future.
“Arc System Works brings a pedigree and record of quality that fighting game fans can trust; with awesome visuals players might mistake as actual 2D animation from the famed Dragon Ball series,” Bandai Namco Entertainment America VP of marketing Eric Hartness said.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be enhanced for those who play the game on Xbox One X. Specifics regarding the enhancements have yet to be detailed.
